Death comes often, and it will come for you. You will inhabit what an ordinary person might in Knox County's collapse, afraid, not prepared, alive only by luck. Built on a commitment to the vanilla experience, with additions to give roleplay room to breathe.

Most days are quiet, boring even. Your character won't have a soundtrack moment. The world will not pause to let them recover.

The other survivors you meet are the most dangerous thing on the map. Some help. Some lie. Some will kill you for what is in your bag. Names are remembered here. Faces are remembered. The choices a survivor makes follow them.
